The Catarratto grape is native to Sicily and with careful handling produces a delicate wine with a fragrant aroma. From mature vines (up to twenty-five years old) 'Fasola' was made by the Mondo del Vino team, who also make the supremely popular 'Papavero'. Light mineral aromas with hints of ripe, tropical fruit, fresh lemony flavours and good freshening acidity make this unusual variety a delicious aperitif drink.
