Classified as a Cru Bourgeois in 1932, the property was bought by Claude Lapalu in 1972. It is in St Christoly Medoc, and has vines overlooking the Gironde estuary, with a beautiful 19th century building. The wine is aged in oak barrels (top quality Merrain oak from the centre of France) by Jean-Michel Lapalu, the winemaker. Bright,ruby colour. Enticing primary fruit aromas with a hint of vanilla.
