Splitting Cards
|
- You may split two cards that have the same denomination,
such as two Queens, or two Fours.
If you "split" your cards, your hand is divided
into two separate hands and a bet equal to your original bet
is placed on the second hand.
- Cards of the same value cannot be Split in Multi-hand
European Blackjack Gold. For example, a King
and a Ten have the same value, but cannot
be split because the cards are not the same denomination.
- If you split a pair of Aces and then draw
a card with a value of 10, this is not Blackjack, although
it has a value of 21.
Note: This rule also applies
to splitting pairs of cards with
a value of 10 and then drawing an Ace.
- You can only split once per game, equaling two hands.
Note: This rule includes Aces.
Aces are only split once.
